These include Safecontractor, NICEIC approved Contractor, MCS (microgeneration certification scheme) and Avetta. We maintain a strong focus on the training and development of our workforce. We are rigorous in ensuring high levels of expertise and commitment throughout our team, including partner companies and subcontractors.

NICEIC

C3 Energy Solutions Ltd is an NICEIC registered company. NICEIC is the UK’s leading voluntary regulatory body for the electrical contracting industry. It has been assessing the electrical competence of electricians for over fifty years and currently maintains a roll of over 26,000 registered contractors

Choosing an NICEIC registered electrician is a householder’s best way to ensure a safe job. Electricians registered with NICEIC are assessed on a regular basis to ensure high standards and their work is checked against the IET Wiring Regulations BS 7671 as well as other standards.

For the Contractor

Approved contractors undergo a rigorous assessment process, covering a representative sample of their work, their premises, documentation, equipment, and the competence of their key supervisory staff. They are then re-assessed on a regular basis to ensure continued compliance.

Once registered with the NICEIC, contractors can access a range of support services, including technical advice, industry recognised training, industry literature and contractor insurance.

In addition to this, NICEIC also provide certification and approval services for businesses and individuals across the heating, plumbing, renewable and insulation sectors. Our core approval services are supported by a number of products and services that are tailored specifically to contractors and their customer’s needs.

NICEIC Members

NICEIC members are firms selling or leasing small-scale renewable or low carbon heat or power generation units and who have agreed to comply with the Renewable Energy Consumer Code. This code is backed by the Trading Standards Institute as part of its self-regulation initiative, the Consumer Codes Approval Scheme.

Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) is a nationally recognised quality assurance scheme, supported by the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy. MCS certifies microgeneration technologies used to produce electricity and heat from renewable sources.

Safecontractor

C3 Energy Solution Ltd is a member of Safecontractor which is a third-party accreditation scheme that assesses a company’s health and safety arrangements. Safecontractor is a leading health and safety accreditation scheme that has over 22,000 contractor members and more than 220 clients, including some of the UK’s biggest blue-chip organisations. Many major clients recognise the scheme and will accept a Safecontractor certificate as confirmation of compliance. Safecontractor means that you now only need to be assessed once and not by every client and prospect.

The Renewable Energy Consumer Code
