Major DC Cable Replacement Completed Across Three Solar Farms In Collaboration with BayWa r.e.

C3 Energy Solutions Limited has successfully completed a large-scale remediation project in collaboration with our client, BayWa r.e. These projects involved the replacement of 180,000 metres of DC string cable across three solar farms. This work was required following break-ins and theft incidents that compromised the systems integrity and performance.

Our scope included:

Replacing 180,000m’s of DC string cable

Installing 5,000 new MC4 connectors

Re-testing and commissioning 154 inverters

The project demanded meticulous planning and execution to ensure minimal downtime and restore full operational efficiency. Thanks to our experienced team and robust processes, all sites were recommissioned safely and on schedule for our client and the site owners.
